Instead of the phone quadrant system, allow coordindates:

as pixel coordinates of a rectangle (xa,ya,xb,yb)
or as tuples of coordinates also for polygons: "(xa,ya), (xb,yb), (xc,yc)"
or in percentage (to be independent of scan resolution)
