Separate, low profile, extension board connected to SmartLED Shield via ribbon cable
Extension board sits atop backside lip of LED Matrix, spans entire height of one matrix
Adhesive/glue to LED Matrix, holes to interface with threads on edge of LED Matrix
Potential separate header board for cable attached to SmartLED Shield
All I/O moved to side of the board for accessibility with I/O shield
Buttons, pots are SMD and side-facing
3D Printed enclosure with holes for matrix extensions and I/O shield
Use all SMD Components:
SOIC-8 package for ICs (MSGEQ7, Amps)
SMD resistors/capacitors
MAX9814 Chip for Mic Amp w/ AGC
AGC chip for line input
Dual RCA + 3.5mm input/output
Cheaper component sourcing; black pcb
Potentially remove input switch, detect if line input circuit is closed to use mic
Maximize component compatibility during chip shortage - MSGEQ7, LM358, Teensy4.0 out of stock
