Bug: Pasting Into Reverse Selected Text Does Not Work

When you select the text right to left, pasting an url will simply replace the text.

For me, it replaces the text regardless of direction. I'm testing on an iPad right now, with iPadOS 17.2.

It works for me regardless of direction, but I do need to do it ... twice!?

Here's a very quick screen recording showing what happens:

I type test, then select it and then paste the URL to this issue.
The text is overridden.
I hit ctrl+z to undo and the URL is replaced with test again. I then hit ctrl+v to paste again and I get the expected result where test is a link.

I do this a few times selecting the text in different ways / from different directions. In all cases, I have to paste, undo, paste again to get the correct result :/

This is on a linux host w/ app version 1.6.7.
