Is the idea about just getting the headlines? With only a few minutes you may not get the whole story or a local person adding their video to implement the mainstream news. This will give a good social aspect to build on.

How are the users going to be able to upload videos? Is there going to be some filter that is going determine what is real and what is fake. Could this lead to building hysteria.

What programs are using to create this.

Thanks for asking :D The idea is not only getting the headlines but collect cut scenes from the daily news and add them into a single short video, each article in the video will have a link to their full story if anyone is interested about it. Users will have to create an account with some specific information and our project aims to motivate user to post real event by letting them sell to news company and let them evaluate it like doing auction. The video they upload can only be accepted if using the app to film it or they have to provide clues.
The programs will be use may be Visual studio - C++ programming language. However, its just a plan.
