It would be quite a nice idea to add a little intro/welcome sentence between the Contributing and JavaScript Codestyle headings in the contributing file.

I was thinking something along the lines of:

We're really happy that you're interested in contributing to decent. We've created codestyle section down below to help you get started.

Obviously, if you decided to implement this, you can choose exactly what it says.
