layout_alignParentBottom not working

Here's my code:

                        android:layout_alignParentEnd="true"
                        android:layout_alignParentBottom="true"
                        android:src="@drawable/fab_placeholder"

                </uk.co.deanwild.flowtextview.FlowTextView>

The image is layed out to the upper right corner despite android:layout_alignParentBottom="true"
