Sökvägar hanteras annorlunda i Windows gentemot Unix. T.ex. så hanterar Windows följande sökvägar likadant, medans den med \ inte fungerar på Unix system.

// Windows style
string(72) "C:\Users\nik\dbwebb-kurser\htmlphp\me\kmom03\me3/multipage\print-get.php"
// Universal style
string(72) "C:\Users\nik\dbwebb-kurser\htmlphp\me\kmom03\me3/multipage/print-get.php"

Detta bör förtydligas i PHP guiden när sökvägar gås igenom.
