  • I have read the contribution docs, and understand what's expected of me.

Link to the page on docs.getdbt.com requiring updates

@nehahystad raised the enterprise permissions table doc has scope of improvement based on user feedback saying the table is difficult to parse.

The writer should work with Neha to further improve the table for users so it's accurate, clear, and easy to follow.

@b-per had some additional feedback on this:

  • Ideally, we would see that a Developer can “run the IDE”, and “see environments”, and “review/extract/download job logs” rather than it can W:Develop, W:Jobs etc (more in the thread)
  • Our RBAC page doesn’t list who can and can’t set external notifications but I am quite sure that this is only Account Admin. source for add'l context

Additional feedback is clarifying the difference between data platform connections and data platform configurations in the docs longer term:
