Instructors should be willing to ask students (very frequently - possibly once per lecture) how their experience is going with this new online structure. Maybe we should adapt some ICES questions http://cte.illinois.edu/teacheval/ices/pdf/ICES_Catalog.pdf for a weekly survey to send to our students about how things are going and whether we need to make adjustments.
