Please help me fix my theme for rofi 1.7.0

Sorry, I have tried, but I don't understand how it works. My theme broke with the update to 1.7.0 and I have read the release notes, forum... but can't get it to work again.

Here is my theme:

As you can see, at the end I have added the bits to inherit background color and text color.
I have also added the @theme bit.

I have tried to play with those and in the end the only way I can get my theme to work again is when I remove the @theme and leave the inherit bits and launch rofi with no-default-config (I have read in this forum that it should be avoided).

I don't understand how I should use @theme, when I add it, it breaks everything.

@theme is for importing theme file. Just move @theme "mytheme" statement out of * block and make sure file mytheme.rasi exists in one of config directories, e.g. ~/.config/rofi/ (see man rofi-theme(5) for more options).

Thanks @Oxore I think I missed a point here, my theme was my entire ~/.config/config.rasi. Now in ~/.config/config.rasi I have @theme "theme" and I have moved the content of my theme to ~/.config/theme.rasi. And now it works again as before.
