Feature request: Custom error messages and fallback image

Hey there, yesterday (by mistake) I upgraded to v2 and am pretty impressed of the new UI and features. Awesome work!

What I already missed in v0 is the possibility to individualize error messages. A custom error text, at best with automatic localization, would be an excellent start. As an extension it would be great if instead of the black frame the last snapshot or a fallback image could be shown.

Maybe some background: I'm using restreamer to proxy and distribute a 24/7 webcam livestream from Latin America, where internet quality is quite unstable and thus stream interruptions happen quite often.

Can you tell us which messages you are missing? And describe that in more detail?

The problem with the stability is known and not so easy. I can say more about that as soon as we have found the best and cleanest solution.
