Hi,

I am currently facing an issue when using Tex Live 2024 in Overleaf and on my local machine. The alignment of the points and the text do not fit. This issue is not apparent in Tex Live versions 2023 or 2022:

Issue Tex Live 2024:

No Issue Tex Live 2023:

Is there anything in the yaac-another-awesome-cv.cls that must be adapted to accommodate the 2024 version?

hi,

I experienced the same problem compiling with LuaTeX, Version 1.18.1 (MiKTeX 24.4). I am not an expert but I believe the extra spacing is caused by the color group in the skills environment.
Following the solution by Ulrike Fischer from this post I required the luacolor package in the yaac-another-awesome-cv.cls.

I can confirm, that adding
\usepackage{xcolor,luacolor}
to yaac-another-awesome-cv.cls fixes the issue.
