printing in line zero

when i print on any line but line 0 it acts as expected but for some reason whenever i try to print something at line 0 it is written in line 6 even though the function returns 0 , this happens whether i use ncplane_printf_yx , use ncplane_cursor_move_yx or use ncplane_cursor_move_yx to set the line to 1 then use ncplane_cursor_move_rel to move it one line above
