On my first HA-device I've had input_booleans, input_numbers and input_texts defined.
Later I set up another HA-device with entities with the same names.
Even later I set up remote_homeassistant between the devices, with HA#1 as the main device and HA#2 as the remote node.
I noticed that some entities automatically got "_2" at the end.
After the set up, I modified the configuration to set prefixes for entities and services.
Today I changed the IP-address of HA#2. This led to HA#1 not being able to reach HA#2, so I tried to modify the configuration.
However, I couldnt get very far into the configuration pages. There was a binary sensor missing, so the page where you usually defined includes and exclude entities etc could not be seen. I realized that I was not able to change the IP-adress inside this configuration, so I decided to delete it and instead create a new one.

The new connected nicely but now I noticed that the orginal entities since long defined on machine HA#1 are gone! Why were they deleted? This integration should never had touched them. I dont know how many entities I have lost. Automations and scripts no longer works locally because of this.
