#17, #23, #24, #27 were merged with only the approval of the Operators. We were unable to add the new players to the PR until they accepted invitations to the join the Players team. Is this acceptable or should we modify the rules for this situation?

I believe that we should keep an open policy for allowing new players so that'll probably mean having more lax rules for merging. Let's see how it plays out with future players and we can adjust the rules with the additional experience.
