It would be useful that you can edit just the device assignment from the main window.

Workaround for myself I'm going to try: Create an udev script that creates a "powersupply -> /dev/ttyACM" link.

Thanks for your feedback. This improvement is already in my todo list. I'll try to implenent this as soon as possible
