Many WiFi drivers are built in to the Linux Kernel, and as such do not require additional drivers - somewhat different from the document, which says / implies that additional drivers are required. As an example, my RaLink RT5370 based adapter only requires nmclli to connect my Fedora Server wirelessly to the internet.
