vscode is often offset upwards 50%
the drop area over the navigator had an empty spot in it
drop area doesn't work over VSCode
When moving the mouse during drag, the drag target area will blink for a few frames
- hopefully related: Malte managed to drop a pane and it ended up in the wrong location
Moving the cursor outside the editor changes to the OS-level drag and drop
