Cannot set Thermostat to ON/OFF using Alexa

First, Thank you for this wonderful project!

I have configured a Thermostat device, but, cannot change the mode (Cool/Heat/etc..), neither the Power state (On/Off) using Alexa.

Also, when reporting state as OFF, the device will not be controllable anymore through Alexa, unless reported again as On (Cool/Heat etc..).

Could someone overcome this issue?

My ON/OFF and CWRGB lights work flawlesly! I didn't even had to read the documentation these nodes are very intuitive and easy to configure.

Same problem here with Thermostat (ACs on my case), 2 things I just noticed:

On the node red side I don't see the green "Connected" message under the node
