Improve comparison logic of the log #5

It is unclear how the entries in the log are compared. Currently each entry is compared to the previous entry. But it might also make sense to compare each entry to the first entry in the log to showcase a sequence of modifications in regards to a seed document.
Suggestion: add a switch to toggle "Compare with previous entry vs Compare with first entry"
