Future-proof bcpd implementation

It might be a better idea to ship bcpd implementation with this repo to future-proof this work, considering bcpd implementation is a core part of the registration pipeline.

Would it be a good idea to create a pip installable version of the code? It would allow something like pip install amap and install the dependencies as part of the setup script along with the BCPD implementation. The usage could then be CLI like amap --target, --source, --output_dir -- [args]
