Event Shadowy Assasins attacking Southshore - Hillsbrand Foothils

I found 6 of them right behind the building the magistrate is in, they are stealthed and stand between these large trees that are behind he main building of southshore.
This is a timed/scripted event, it starts with the Southshore Crier running into Southshore (form Tarren's Mill direction) and yelling: "Help me! Help! Assassins in the Hills! To arms! To arms!"
Then Southshore Guard says: "Go to your posts! Let no invader reach Southshore!" and "Anyone suspicous is to be taken down quickly. Get to your posts as quickly as possible" Even if you miss this part with all the yelling, you can still figure out if the Assassins are about if you just take a look a the guards. While this event is active, almost all guards around Southshore are doubled, so if you see many more than usual guards patrolling, then the assassins are near. They try to sneak into Southshore and some are just waiting around SS.

We know:

• Timed scripted event
• Southshore Crier comes from tarrent Mill dirrection, But I assume that is the crossrod exit from Soutshshore and yells:
  "Help me! Help! Assassins in the Hills! To arms! To arms!"
• Southshore Guard says:
  "Go to your posts! Let no invader reach Southshore!"
  "Anyone suspicous is to be taken down quickly. Get to your posts as quickly as possible"
• All spawns get doubled, I saw that in a movie I can't find right now, but I shall find some day
• The Assasins spawn as stealthed

He spawns when the little event happens at Southsore, then:

Southshore Crier says: Guards to your posts! They must be after the Magistrate again. He must be protected! They could come from any direction!
Southshore Crier The Southshore Crier grabs the back of his neck and his eyes go wide.
Southshore Crier says: Assassins... save... th... Magistraaa...

Then he dies.

So he runs toward the Southshore guard with the first yell, abd ibe Assasin appears behind him, and kills him.

Timed scripted event

We actually don't know if it's a triggered or a timed event. I tested all the times that are mentioned on wowhead comments/other bug reports, nothing happend at those times. (Tested on Wotlk Classic/ptr/classic/tbc ptr)

It's one of those events where we still not know much about.

My understanding is that this event is analogous to Stitches in Darkshore and is triggered by a player’s progress in a given quest line. That’s my memory and what some WoWHead comments from Classic Era seem to indicate as well.

Conjecture at this point, but I do not believe it’s triggered at set times at a minimum.

Well, don't remember stiches to be activated by player. But u might be right. 2 months ago I encountered a few tines stiches, and My server is low pop. I mean very low, barely see someone

it might be triggered by completing quest where u have to kill eliza, but I am not sure

That’s what I meant, yes. It’s either once you decrypt the Embalmer’s note or kill Eliza, but either way, I’m nearly certain Stitches is scripted based on progress along that quest line. Similarly, I believe the event in Southshore follows a similar trigger, in that I believe it’s triggered after turning in Noble Deaths (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=512/noble-deaths).

Again, no concrete proof, but that’s been my experience.

Wotlk is soon replaced, and I don;t have time to get this event, but I will continue wow by classic again, and I shall do the quest lines for this event

@miraco I can confirm is a quest acceptance event triggers, but can't confirm yet the quest, soon will

• I have the spawn location of all shadowy assasins so far
• I did all the quests from southshore, and NONE triggered the event, so it's not a quest triggering event, more a time base event
