When I'm trying to use cmeel in a github action on windows, it uses the VS multi-config generator. No config is specified at build time so it uses Debug instead of Release.

Perhaps in impl.py could do this:

-build_cmd = ["cmake", "--build", str(build), f"-j{cmeel_config.jobs}"]
+build_cmd = ["cmake", "--build", str(build), "--config", "Release", f"-j{cmeel_config.jobs}"]
-install_cmd = ["cmake", "--build", str(build), "-t", "install"]
+install_cmd = ["cmake", "--build", str(build), "--config", "Release", "-t", "install"]
