Gregor believes that timezone does not work when burned from a PI.

This task was originally to be fixed by a student, but has never been completed.

  • identify how to setup timezone via the commandline on a PI
  • figure out if we can use it at burn time and how we can do it. I presume it includes ntp and access to networks. timezone seems to be a bit complex to set up, but I hpe there is amanual.
    I believe it actually works on LInux and OSX, and best would be automated time zone detection.
  • On WIndows we have a preference for that. It needs to be checked if it actually works
