hi
I read the commit log in tag 0.3.0,'Support for Microsoft Failover Cluster and Cluster Shared Volumes (CSVs)'.
But I try to install ceph_quincy_beta.msi and use rbd.exe map rbd/rbd01. Then use New-cluster to create failover cluster, the Get-ClusterAvailableDisk return nothing. No wnbd disk is available to Cluster Storage group.

Hi,

The wnbd driver does support CSVs, however we need another change on the Ceph side: ceph/ceph#48631

How it works is that the wnbd driver forwards the SCSI Persistent Reservation requests to the userspace daemon (rbd-wnbd), which will be able to handle those requests once the above mentioned pull request merges.

Here's an experimental build in case anyone is interested in trying it out: https://cloudbase.it/downloads/ceph_dev_csv.msi.
Current status: https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/57109. Just note that this feature needs to be enabled explicitly like so:

rbd device map test_image -o enable-pr
