Currently the backup/restore steps in ptp.py assume the user will have internet connectivity when restoring since this is the most efficient method (e.g., does not require transferring large files when transitioning from remote to on-site testing) and most common use case for current assessments. Manual steps for offline backup/restore will be provided via the README and internal runbook in the meantime as higher priority issues are addressed.
