This works for me, although it does seem to hang randomly.

matt@server:~$ curl usd.rate.sx/1JPY
0.00757088139035

However, when checking, the currency value for GBP is way off, so be careful, it is 1.30 at the time of writing.

matt@server:~$ curl usd.rate.sx/1GBP
1.20930079597
