What is the purpose of the sleep_schedule_samples table?

Hello, I'm researching the HealthKit database and haven't figured out what this table is for.

To my knowledge, the table contains the user settings for sleep schedules. The user can set the phone to sleep mode where notifications are silenced (See iPhone Settings > Focus > Sleep). The schedules can be created in the health app (in the Sleep view) for different days with a beginning and an end time. That's what the individual columns in the table represent:
The weekdays on which the schedule is applied, and the beginning and end time of the period for which the phone is in sleep mode.
