Add Multi-Architecture Support for cgr.dev/chainguard/static:latest

Description

We are currently facing an issue with using the cgr.dev/chainguard/static:latest image as a base image in our project for kn-plugin event and eventing-reconciler testing. Our tests are failing on the ppc64le architecture because this image does not support ppc64le.

Proposed Solution

We would like to request the addition of multi-architecture support for cgr.dev/chainguard/static:latest, specifically for the ppc64le architecture. This will enable projects that rely on this image to function seamlessly across diverse platforms.

Additional Information

• The tests fail during the image build process due to the lack of ppc64le support.
• Chainguard Images are a critical dependency in our project, and multi-architecture support would significantly improve our ability to test and deploy across different platforms.

1. Are there any existing efforts to make Chainguard Images multi-architecture?
2. Would the community be open to a PR that helps enable ppc64le support?
