I think the problem probably comes from the viem SDK update in the new proof.

Hmm. We don't have any chains using those beta versions yet and our production deploys are pinned to viem 2.16.1 and we are not seeing this issue. We're pretty deep in an R&D cycle at the moment, so it's unlikely I'll be able to spend any time on this super soon, since it isn't affecting us yet. I'd be very open to pull requests though.
