Just kinda what the title says, if not I think it would be something great to add, because I'm not sure how else I can accomplish that on android after googles idea to remove the "prefer 5ghz" option from the WiFi menu... And just add nothing as a replacement to manually choose between them.
I go to a library very often, and so much of the time I have to sit there reconnecting 2 dozen times until my device decides to ignore 2.4ghz and connect to the 5ghz channel; it's the difference between 1mbps and 15mbps.
Doesn't seem like this is do-able. In 30mins of scourg-ing (?) the docs, Couldn't find any APIs related to this a VPN app (without other special permissions) can use to enforce this.
