Since some workflows use Google Workspace templates, some overwrites can occur by inadvertance.

Not sure what the alternative would be from a Google Docs template perspective. We could also into using a different medium than Google Docs to capture the incident information

Ideally the capture would happen in a bespoke UI as part of the bot. The advantage of Google Docs is that it integrates easy with the rest of our workflows, allows multiple editors, etc. It might be worth looking into if docs has some sort of locking and templating feature

I had a quick look and templates are by default set to view for the org but there's a lot of authorized editors. I couldn't find an actual locking mechanism either 🤔

Clearly a fillable PDF is needed 🤕
