As a user, I want to be able to access the learning resources website from *.alpha.canada.ca, so that I am not blocked from accessing it when logged into a GC wifi.

✅ Definition of Done

• *.alpha.canada.ca domain decided

  • resources.alpha.canada.ca - English
  • ressources.alpha.canada.ca - French

• AWS Account for prod setup

  • Terraform files for setting Route53 and Amplify
    • Create tfstate
    • Run terraform files for prod
    • Terraform files for staging & prod #316 (Moved to a separate ticket)

• Domain registered

  • To request for an alpha.canada.ca, open a PR on https://github.com/cds-snc/dns
  • Request help from @cds-snc/internal-sre for additional help on this ticket @maxneuvians @patheard
  • Open a support case with AWS to safelist the ACM certificate creation
  • Domain whitelisted

• resources.alpha.canada.ca running

• ressources.alpha.canada.ca running

  • French domain loading english links #317

• Links to learning-resources.cdssandbox.xyz are redirected to the new domain name #318 (Moved to a separate ticket)

• Google Analytics

  • Google Analytics has been configured
  • Google Analytics works on new domain name

• Update monitoring systems (uptime robot)
• Retiring learning-resources.cdssandbox.xyz (we could re-use the domain, but we might want to take it down later) Retire or reuse learning-resources.cdssandbox.xyz #373
• Update CSP headers for scan websites (no need as it automatically picks up the domain)
• Redirect all requests from cdssandbox.xyz to alpha.canada.ca Links to learning-resources.cdssandbox.xyz are redirected to the new domain name #318
• Redirect ressources.alpha.canada.ca/ to ressources.alpha.canada.ca/fr French domain loading english links #317
