Firefox HTTP/2 dependency graphs differ across test runs. #397

Examining the prioritisation of assets when using Firefox I noticed that each test run seems to show quite a different graph.

The examples below all taken from tests of www.gov.uk:

  • This run shows HTML, 2/7 CSS files and most of the other waterfall assets.
  • This run shows HTML, no CSS, and most of the other assets in the waterfall.
  • This run shows no HTML, 4/7 CSS files and 1 JS file.

These runs are all from the same test. Interestingly clicking on some of the assets in the waterfall, not all of them show "HTTP/2 Stream" information. Quote from Pat:
