Add something to facilitate verifying all of the individual statuses that went into the collect-status event, probably like:

ctx = Context(MyCharm)
with ctx(ctx.on.update_status(), State()) as mgr:
    mgr.run()
    assert ActiveStatus() in mgr.collected_statuses
