Large number of entries causes an exploding figure legend #117

We need a solution to deal with the legend when the database has become so large that the legend extends beyond the plot.

Possible solutions:

(right)click datapoint in plot to be able to switch off that dataset; of course, this only works one way (you cannot switch on an invisible dataset)
...

Add an interactive/searchable table below the plot which would allow data selection/removal (hard but cool)
