E2E Use case for Edge Cloud Family

To explain to the Developers how the APIs in the Edge Cloud Family are related. The possible output from this discussion could be a Use Case description to be published in the Edge Cloud WG and on Confluence.

You can find below a very first draft, please integrate and enhance it.

Use Case general description: Automated activation (e.g. via an Orchestrator using the Edge Cloud APIs) of a Service at the Edge to provide to the Service Consumers (End Users) the optimal performance while accessing the service in a certain geographical area.

Steps:

1. onboarding of the Application (API: Edge Cloud API?)
2. detection of the optimal MEC site for the selected geographical area (API: Simple Edge Discovery?)
3. instantiation of the Application in the identified MEC site
4. optimization of the traffic routing at the Edge to provide an optimal access to the Edge Instance in the selected geographical area (API: Traffic Influence).
