[BUG] iPad not showing heart rate but on on iPhone #3011
Comments
For this you need to keep iPhone with qz alive all the time to do the bridge because rhe iPhone is always the bridge of the AW So simple open qz on the iPad, then start qz app on the watch and open Also qz on the iPhone keeping qz on foreground Let me know |
P.s. It's an ios limitation :) |
Thanks It is quite random. Firstly I find that it makes no difference if the iPhone QZ app is running. However, it must have “Lock Screen” set as “never” on the iPhone. Then it sometimes picks up the heart rate on iPad and other times shows 0. On 9 Jan 2025, at 05:34, Roberto Viola ***@***.***> wrote:

Show me a debug log from the iPad when it doesn't work and I will check it |
Thanks Where do I find the log file? Also, I am trying to connect to MyWoosh. I connect Echelon EX3 to QZ on iPhone ok. Then I load MyWoosh on iPad and scan bug if finds nothing. All on same network and close to each other. What settings do I need? On 10 Jan 2025, at 16:30, Roberto Viola ***@***.***> wrote:

For the iPad: install the free app nrfconnect there and with qz open on the other side, check what do you see from the Qz app on the ipad |
Thank you. And can you answer my question about connecting to MyWoosh please? On 10 Jan 2025, at 21:17, Roberto Viola ***@***.***> wrote:

I answered you asking about nrfconnect
It should work as the other scenario so I would like to understand if you
are getting the right signal from the iPhone
I'm going to bed now

Hi. I have QZ running on my Apple Watch Series 9, iPhone 15, and iPad Pro. The heart from Watch shows ok on the iPhone but not on the iPad. All settings appear the same. Any ideas please?
