also know very little about rust...

yea, I know. It's work in progress and I don't find much time for it.

As it is right now, it doesn't work on mac (or on windows), because it reads the keyevents directly from /dev/input, which does not exist on mac (and obviously also not on windows)

I might port to mac/windows in the future, but it could be really long until I get to that.
