Cannot obtain dark oak planks with iron saw

Cannot obtain dark oak planks with iron saw. Works with oak wood...

Can you please provide the steps to reproduce this?

Edit: It seems I was able to recreate the problem by shift right clicking on a dark oak log, in which case it did not drop any planks after using the saw. I believe this problem is being caused upstream by EarlyGame, however it does not seem to be maintained as of recent, so I cannot provide a definitive answer on how this will be fixed.

I have some ideas on how this could temporarily be fixed, a custom recipe maybe for dark oak planks, or maybe even I go out of my way to patch EarlyGame. If you have any ideas please do not hesitate to communicate them here.
