Tentative syllabus plan:

Lesson plan (8 weeks):

  1. Install Matlab/Citrix help (as needed), intro to GUI and navigation, syntax, variables, data types
  2. Strings, vectors, arrays, matrices, colon notation, nesting
  3. Loops, decisions, operators, functions, intro to plotting
  4. Catch-up day
  5. Theory about ephys/EEG, preprocessing, artifact identification, ICA intro
  6. ICA continued, Intro to ERP
  7. More ERP code, plotting
  8. Catch-up day; time-frequency analysis discussion if time
