Not all students looking for internship might be able to browse the website.
We should make site accessible for disabled people.

Possible things to consider:

  • Test navigation with Screen Reader. We should check if it's comfortable to use and if there's access to all important forms.
  • Check if alternative descriptions are simple, but descriptive.
  • Check if form names are descriptive enough. It's possible screen reader might read some button as search. But search for what? There should be some hint that it's used to search for example: companies.
  • See if contrast is good for most screens. On my screen some decorative elements disappear in the white background, which makes website design plain.
  • Check if colors are appropriate for common colorblind types. It mostly relates to contrast, because we don't have color-coded elements.

I think it's worth keeping that in mind. Such changes should improve SEO at the same time.
