App kills the background process, how to save the playback progress?

App continues to play audio in the background. If the app is killed by the user or the system at this time, is there any way to save the duration currently played by the audio to shared_prefs?

Not sure, but usually the dispose method in a stateful widget should be called then. There you can fetch the position of the player before the app is shut down. But haven't tried :)
