I tried to help before, and will be glad to help. Anyone can edit our extension and make it better for BMP. I was sent a BMP HW but with no cables or anything that works with my ST-Nucleo boards. They don't have a 10-pin debug connector. I have a PSoC6 from Cypress which does have one but not supported by BMP. In fact, I have no idea where the BMP probe is now in my house. If I cannot use the BMP probe at all, I can't help. |

The intersection of the boards I have and BMP is zero. I wish someone who has all the equipment can pitch in to help. I don't have the BMP anymore (can't find it anyways). Don't want to say this, but I have physical limitations in being able to solder or making cables, etc.
It sounded interesting until I read the later part that the FW would not be full features and I would have to compiler it myself. I am not even sure what the current problems are. Anyone who enables our gdb traces can figure out what we are doing wrong. Finally, if I don't even know what the current issues are, not sure where to start. |

I know this is a somewhat old thread, but i have been experimenting with the BMP and a STM32 G474 Nucleo board (https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/nucleo-g474re.html) which does come with a built-in 10pin jtag/SWD header: it actually works pretty well. |

Stumbled upon this comment while browsing the cortex-debug extension repo, it might be worth getting in touch with @haneefdm as they appear to be the current maintainer, and having first-class support for BMP is certainly desirable
