Is this a feature relevant to companion itself, and not a module?

  • I believe this to be a feature for companion, not a module

Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Describe the feature

We have more than one person regularly viewing Companion. I am using the description field on the actions in order to let everyone know what each action is actually doing. And I use descriptions in the Event section to describe what's happening there. But it would be VERY helpful to have descriptions as optional all throughout Companion especially for Triggers and Buttons themselves. A place for a one-sentence explanation of what a button or trigger is doing.

Usecases

Explaining clearly what a button or trigger is going to do / is doing. So a secondary user or someone who didn't make the button or trigger can understand what is happening.
