Hi,

can I open a BDV-XML (N5)?

You can try using: [ Open > Open Bio-Formats... ]
Does that work?
The issue is that BDP2 is not made for multi-resolution data.

@NicoKiaru I don't think BDV-XML/N5 is supported by Open Bio-Formats..., is it?
@martinschorb Maybe BDV-XML/HDF5 could work but also there I am not sure.

I don't think so either

It kind of works, but since bio-formats does not deal with downsampling in Z, you may have issues.

I found a workaround for my particular task (extracting down-sampled volume) which I now did in MoBIE.
In the long run, maybe we should look into making things cross-compatible and make BDP process the full resolution layer from such data.

Yes, totally. Leave the issue open.
