significant difficulty attempting to build on m1 mac

hello, unfortunately I'm pretty dumb when it comes to python (read: entirely incompetent). Therefore, I humbly request any and all available help working out this issue. I already managed to get the fw patched on the same machine relatively easily, tbh I don't recall how I got passed an issue with bsdiff4 but I did due to seeing a similar issue discussed in hacktribe's issues. I've done everything I can think of to troubleshoot this myself though, so I'm gonna open an issue.

Hi. I don't have access to Mac hardware, does this comment thread help?

By the way, this GUI currently only supports patching the firmware.

You may also be able run the Windows executable using WINE.

Oh damn I didn't know that you weren't on a mac. I didn't specify well enough in my issue, yeah I tried everything I could based on that comment thread, which got the FW patched just fine but no further luck. I didn't know that the gui was only for patching the firmware though, lol. Nevermind! If you need a mac I can ship you an ancienttttt macbook, if it would be of any use to you. You're doing god's work!

I hope to add more features to the GUI in the future, like import, export and editing of all the content. Thank you for offering the macbook, but it probably wouldn't get much use. There are people far more in need of a free laptop than I am.
