Editor midi and fx

Just started playing with the editor. First of all have to thank you for the incredible work! Few questions,

1. the midi part is only for mapping additional fx peramiters? Could we change cc numbers for other controls? Example if I wanted the filter knob to send lets say cc 75 to match the midi filter cc on another synth. Allowing the electribe to be a perfect programable midi controller?

2. this all can be edited over midi/sysex, but not saved? Inorder to lets say add an fx you need to write it to the firmware and re-flash? Not yet available to users?
   I'm very excited to have an electribe full of my own custom tailored fx!

The MIDI control part is only for controlling the editor. We use a different controller (not Hacktribe) to send CC to the editor, which then sends NRPN and SysEx to Hacktribe.

Could we change cc numbers for other controls?

This isn't supported by the editor and I don't think it should be in scope. There are a lot of apps for remapping MIDI messages, I like Midish, but any DAW should have this feature. In the future Hacktribe should allow remapping CC numbers on the device, there are a lot of updates to MIDI in the works.

This is correct, currently. I want to modify the pattern file format so that we can save one IFX preset per part plus an MFX preset, individually for every pattern. You can use the editor to export presets and save them to a local file, then send them to Hacktribe each time you boot. In the future there should be options to save them to the flash, maybe even load from SD card.

If you make some cool new presets share them in this forum. I can add more IFX to the patch, currently MFX have to replace an existing preset.
