Arguably, Chris regards 96k as being the optimal or native sample rate for his plugins (see, for example: https://gearspace.com/board/showpost.php?p=17142626&postcount=27). He also is not a believer in adding OS to his plugins. So, for those of us who prefer working at 48k (or perhaps those who work at > 96k) it would be handy to have a checkbox that forces the internal sample rate of Consolidated to be 96k. Or perhaps just a simple 2x/4x option?

As someone who mainly uses FL Studio as a daw and my main worksystem that I use airwindows console amongst other airwindows plugins it would be awesome to have a 2x oversample so i didnt have to work my laptop so hard while running 96K SR because i can deal with 96k easily when using airwindows while mixing but while creating a beat / song with instrument vsts 96k can get rather taxxing on my not so fast pc.

Also with 48K being the highest for mp3 rendering on fl studio it would be nice to have the OS option so id didnt have to restart fl studio to take a project made at 96k bounced to a wav then re rendered as a mp3 when i could just do both at the same time easily with the OS option.

I will gladly work at a higher sample rate once i upgrade my pc / when i do certain mixing projects but i use console on a daily basis as well as other aw plugins that change upon sample rate so an OS option would be cool but i could also see how maybe i just need to upgrade my pc and maybe over sampling wouldnt work the same as running at a higher sample rate which is what i do when recording so any harmonics / analog noise that are way over 20k can be dealt with a lot better and ive noticed recording at 48K vs recording at 192 or even 96k then resampling back to 48K sounds way better than anything recorded at 48K to begin with.
