@bap2pecs cloned issue babylonchain/pm-integration#13 on 2024-07-17:

Context

@bap2pecs : when a user delegates a BTC staking to a FP for a consumer chain, how can it specify the address to receive rewards? is this sth not built yet? since the user also needs to choose another FP for Babylon chain, does the user also need to specify a Babylon chain address? is that built yet?

@SebastianElvis : Correct, reward mechanism for consumers is not designed or implemented yet. There is a staker_addr field in BTCDelegation struct. It is the staker's babylon address https://github.com/babylonchain/babylon-private/blob/5cdf5bb3bbd9f6c47e2f23f63f13a44fe5b48bdf/proto/babylon/btcstaking/v1/btcstaking.proto#L63-L64

We have started initial investigation on the implementation of reward mechanisms in other security sharing protocols. @gusin13 will have a writeup on this (not at highest priority though)
